These photos were taken at the Sumner Knight Chapel in Keene, NH in the Woodland Cemetery. The chapel offers truly extraordinary acoustics for recording to capture an organic and natural sound. Ideal for acoustic instruments and voice, Josh Green and DWR recorded several tracks for their upcoming album in the chapel.

The shoot was impromptu after a cricket disturbed the quiet summer night. After an extended hunt for the creature proved futile, the reverberations of the space providing a convenient camouflage for the insect, sounding as if it were in many locations at once, the duo forfeited the recording effort for the evening. Asha captured these images as a postlude to a long day of tracking. A brief video (bottom) reveals the special ambiance created from the cricket's chirping.
